Directions from Calais to The Barnhouse |

From Calais pickup the Motorway to Boulogne (A16). |
||
|
Just before Abbeville leave the A16 and take the A28 Motorway to Rouen. |
||
|
When you come into Rouen follow the signs for Alencon/Le Mans. |
||
|
This is the Rouen ring road with a series of traffic lights. It is about 2 miles. |
||
|
When you leave Rouen you will join the A13 motorway (direction) Caen/Le Mans for about 7 miles. |

| Keep on this motorway and then join A28 motorway to Alencon/Le Mans | ||
| This section of motorway is about 100 miles and at the end you need to join the A11 and head towards Paris for about 5 miles. | ||
| Then take the exit for Le Mans (South)/Orleans and Tours and rejoin the A28. | ||
| Keep on the motorway for about 10 mile and then take the exit for Ecommoy. | ||
| When you exit the toll booth turn right at the first roundabout to the centre of Ecommoy. | ||
| At the first set of traffic lights turn left to Mayot. | ||
| Follow this road until you reach the next roundabout and turn right to Pont Vallian. | ||
| This is narrow road for about 6 miles. | ||
| When you reach Pont Vallian turn left towards Le Lude. | ||

When you come into Le Lude, following the “TOUTE DIRECTION” sign, turning right shortly after you have crossed the bridge. Follow this road and go straight ahead at the next set of lights. Now follow the signs for NOYANT. |

As you leave Le Lude for NOYANT, in about 2 miles, you should pass a water tower on your left. Keep on this road until you reach NOYANT. |

When you come to a major crossroads at NOYANT, cross the major road and go down NOYANT main street. At the church, turn left, and head for Briel/Parcay Le Pins. Go straight ahead at the roundabout. |

As you come into Parcay, follow the “AUTRES DIRECTIONS” sign and bypass the village (you go left for about 500 yards and then turn right towards Gizeux/Courleon). You come to crossroads with a football ground at the other side. Go straight across (the football ground on your left), towards Courleon. |

Keep on this road for about 1 mile until you enter another small hamlet (Bignon de vert), there is a big grain dispenser, signed CAVAL, just before you come into the hamlet. You take the first left hand junction as the main road bends to the right, you should now see a small sign pointing to Les Taudonnieres. In approx. 500 yards, turn right and in about another 300 yards you will enter Les Taudonnieres. At the crossroads go straight forward. We are the last house on the left before you leave the hamlet. |
