Hi, our names are Chris and Gerry Atkinson, we live on site in the farmhouse. Let us tell you about The Barnhouse:- |
|
|

|
|

We are situated in the interesting, and ever
popular, Loire Valley, close to the historic chateau town of Saumur. Les
Taudonnieres is a small, quiet hamlet and the gîte garden, at the rear
of our property, overlooks the fields.
|
The
Barnhouse nestles within our huge barn and we have restored
and modernized it to provide comfortable holiday
accommodation, perfect for a couple or young family who want
to spend a relaxing, peaceful holiday in a tranquil rural
hamlet,
The
living accommodation is all on the ground floor, part open
plan, and has a bright, light, modern, but cosy feel. The
gîte is suitable for people with mobility problems but there
is a step into the shower room/wc
We are
minutes away from the charming village of Parcay les Pins
where you can buy your le pain, drink with the locals or
visit the Musée Jules Desbois, which traces the career of
this accomplished sculptor. |
